Excellent combination of Transactional Analysis and teaching. TA has always fascinated me for its simplicity and usefulness. It is a paradigm shift where the world is interpreted with a fresh eye. Its philosophical assumptions (people are OK, people can think, and people can change) are both optimistic AND grounded in reality. Has it helped me personally? Indeed. Has it helped my students? Well, my previous two English classes now have their own WhatsApp groups (one of which, to my surprise and delight, is called 'family'), they still check on each other and hang out though the class itself ended two months ago!
The style of this book resembles everything I like about TA: Concise, practical, and fun. It has so many ideas that It can even be a book of inspiration you'd open anytime you're searching for ideas for your next class.
TA is an enriching theory you don't want to miss.
