Read this in one day. Simply couldn’t put it down. It’s my favorite of Melissa Broder’s work by far. I loved the magical realism woven into her dark sense of humor and meditations on grief and god. This book felt like the perfect fusion of Jenny Slate’s raw emotion and whimsy in Little Weirds and Carrie Fisher’s dry wit and brutal personal honesty in Postcards From The Edge. I loved it. I think this is one of those books that will be even more rewarding on the second read.

Bonner’s book club #2 - Broder’s voice is fresh, funny, & raw - some of the content was a bit over the top for me
