Two people from different walks of life finding love? Yes, please!

Dare and Weatherly grabbed me from the first time they met until the very last page. Everything about their story was amazing! From Dare and Weatherly's first meeting to the growth of their relationship, to their trials and tribulations, and that amazing ending and prologue, I could not put this book down! Their relationship deals with so many obstacles and the twists and turns, WHOA! This story has it all! S.L. Scott has created yet another couple whose love knows no bounds and I cannot wait to see what she has in store next!

I am so smitten with this story. I’m a huge fan of S.L.Scott’s rockstar stories and Dare has become one of my favourites to date by this author. I absolutely loved it.

The heat and chemistry between these two was addicting and all-consuming. It had all the feels and it had all the heat. As their journey progressed, these two fall deeper and deeper for each other. We see different sides to each character and just when it couldn't get any more intense, there are curve balls which had me craving more from these two.

This book is everything. Dare and Weatherly's story is simply gorgeous and flawlessly written. Yet again, S.L. Scott has created an unforgettable couple whose love knows no bounds. An absolute must read!

This isn't the first book by S.L Scott that I have had the pleasure to read, and just like many of her others, it went off with a bang.
S.L has a way with her words that'll suck you in from the very first page and Dare: A Rock Star Hero was definitely a MUST READ.

Dare Marquis is the bad boy rock star.
Sinful, Hot as hell, a man you lust over for years to come.
A voice like an angel but a look like a devil.
Those words that flow out of his mouth are ones that have women's panties dropping to the floor the moment he opens his mouth. A single night with him would be heaven and hell all in one.

Weatherly Beck just may be the woman who can tame Dare. She's beautiful, she is smart, and she has her life mapped out for her. Her future is bright and is ready for her, and is in hands reach, but that all changes the moment these two meet.

Weatherly wanted a hot one night stand with Dare, but what she thought would be ONE night, turns into so much more. How could it not? When this man is everything she craves and Dare wants her for himself, and himself only. He wants to be her Hero. Will she dare to take a chance on him? After one night, all her well planned out life starts to come apart and she is left wanting more of him. But can anyone blame her?

The heat and chemistry between these two was pulsating, addicting and all-consuming. Their one-night stand together turns into so much more. It was brilliant, it was all the feels and it was all the heat. As the book progresses we watch these two fall deeper and deeper for each other. We see different sides to each character and just when we think it couldn't get any more intense, the author goes and throws curve balls and has me craving more of these two.

Even after the story came to an end... I was left wanting more. I loved it. I wanted to scream and beg the author to add more but at the same time, this was everything it should have been. The authors' well-written words sunk in deep and had my mind was on overdrive the entire way through the book and Dare? Well HOT DAMN... He's the bad boy every girl secretly longs for.

A MUST READ!!

5 Stars!

Dare Marquis and Pepper Beck story about a sweet girl and a bad boy rockstar. They meet in a bar, love and fate had their plans for these ones even though opposites attract, sometimes there is more into it all. I love rockstar romance, I am addicted to all of SL Scott rockers and Dare Marquis got a big check mark for hot book boyfriend. This book delivered all I loved in this trope. A beautiful 5 star read!

slow-paced
Ended up DNFing. It was so slow. I was also a bit confused sometimes with the writing—didn’t feel like some transitions in single scenes were smooth.

Weatherly walks in on her boyfriend of 7 years with another woman. She finds that she is more relieved than she is hurt. She leaves her friends and the party behind to find herself at a bar that she would have never gone to as her elitist family and friends would have never approved. At the bar she meets Dare and is instantly intrigued by him. They flirt for a bit and she has to leave. He tells her that his band plays at the same place every Thursday and she should come back and watch. All week both can't get the other off their mind. Dare is really hoping that she will come back and Weatherly is wondering if she should. Spoiler alert: She does. And then a beautiful love story starts.

I absolutely loved Dare and Weatherly's story. I loved that they didn't play any games. I loved that Weatherly grew into her own and started to take and do what she wanted and not what others expected her to do. I love that she didn't care that Dare wasn't rich and was a struggling musician. I loved that Dare was scared of his feelings but still pursued Weatherly and didn't shy away from telling her about his life and what he did before her. It seemed real. I would have liked to have seen the epilogue further in the future; to see where both of their careers went and how they handled it together but I still adored this book, will be adding it to my favorites and highly recommend that you pick up a copy stat.

I randomly picked this up on KU and I really did enjoy it. Although it's marketed as a rock star romance it's pretty light on the music side. There are some trigger warnings for unwelcome advances, attempted sexual assault (not shown only referenced) and a man hits a woman (not shown on page) it's more about the story of Waverley and Dare and how love can really conquer a whole heck of a lot.
