The politics espoused in this book are... bad, to say the least. Interesting, but bad. The author is not French, not an expert in French history, and not a specialist in the Paris Commune. I'm sure he tries his best, but this is less about the actual Paris Commune and more about how he, the author, views a potential workers' democracy, which is basically like a normal democracy except a different section of the workforce gets to be in charge. It's almost funny.
