Absolute dynamite for fans of Hollywood studio era films and hardboiled Film Noir. Neither a retread of noirs passed or entirely new and different, The Fade Out is a magical hybrid; gripping and also comforting nostalgia. Whiz-bang writing and incredible artwork. A true delight.

Very noir. All the twists and turns kept me in suspense and wanting to keep reading.
