10/20/15 - Reread.

Thoughts:
By god, does Kinsella write her men sexy. I'm a little hesitant to like her women because they all fall on the ditsy side, but damn does she have her men down pat.

This has some genuinely laugh out loud moments, but the romance was fade to black and very weak on real chemistry. The heroine was pitiful to a degree that made me sad in some parts of the book. Really didn't quite come together for me in spite of some really good laughs.

A nice little summer read. A confection of a book. Won't make you think too much.

I am a huge Sophie Kinsella fan and I loved this book. It was fun, light-hearted, and easy to read. Honestly, sometimes I feel like Emma feels; like I can do nothing right and like I get compared to my siblings who are much more successful than I am. I highly recommend this book.

Can You Keep a Secret? es un libro que trata sobre Emma Corrigan, una joven con un gran corazón y muchos secretos.

Sophie Kinsella has the "summer read" genre nailed. I giggled repeatedly throughout this book. Is it predictable? Of course. Is it ridiculous? Of course. Worth reading for a laugh? Of course. :)
