I wasn't a fan of this collection of stories. None of the stories really captured me and each one seemed so "on the surface." I realize the difficulty of having relatable and connectable characters written in such a short story, but I have read short story anthologies that I have loved, and, unfortunately, this just wasn't one of them.

Little Cuts was an excellent collection of short stories by an obviously talented author. At only 62 pages total, each story was a bite-sized bit of horror, with each taking on a different thread of the scary, from the mundane to the futuristic.

My favorite was the first one – Tech Death 2040 – as it was the perfect sort of “Tales from the Crypt” story that you could just see the Cryptkeeper announcing with a cackle and a line like “Beware always keeping your tech…on hand… “Hilary’s Shadow was the only one in the whole collection that I didn’t particularly care for. I don’t know if it was a formatting error or what, but it was confusing to read, even though I tried to sort it out a couple times.

Fantastic read! I would definitely recommend you check this collection out. This might possibly be my favorite collection of short stories I’ve ever read.
