This book tells the story of a lone trio in a very different post-apocalyptic world. Suddenly, in the middle of the day, half the population just disappears, leaving everyone else to their fate. Death, destruction, and heartbreak follow, but even then there is hope. It may be an apocalypse, but maybe, just maybe, it's not the end.

This was pretty tough to get through at times due to the heavy emotional toll, but was worth it 100% of the way. Great read.
