It was ...a roller coaster for sure, A lot of emothions and male tension in the air and not to mention the bickering. I feel bad for Tessa

3.5- this was a good sequel to the first book, just wasn’t as exciting.

I thought this book was really good just like the last one. I can't wait for the next book to come out. I definitely would recommend for those that like romance and adventure novels.

was so excited for this bc i adored book 1 but tbh i wasn't super invested until the end. will definitely pick up book 3 tho!

DID NOT FINISH: 25%

All character development lost. Tessa goes from being a strong female protagonist to a simpering damsel in distress. Very naive and very annoying

3.25 ✨ looking back I feel like the sole purpose of this book was to set up a love triangle/queer-ify the king (slay), but I still really enjoyed it so what ya gonna do? I am a sucker for an adventure at sea.

And just thinking out loud here but wouldn’t it have made more sense to title Harriston’s initial chapters as “The Fox” instead of “The Outlaw”? I know he is given that name in his 2’d or 3rd POV buuuut…??? Why did this bother me??
