Guys, you have to check out this book—it's like a rollercoaster ride of crazy twists and turns that had me hooked from page one to the very end! I didn’t think I was gunna read this one of Shantel Tessiers books but it ended up being great! Colt, the main character, is not your typical Lord type, instead works for a Lord but man, does he bring the drama!!! And then there's Raylee, the drama queen, the leading lady, who seriously needs some therapy, but her chemistry with Colt? Off the charts! I mean, Raylee's journey is just so intense and has a bunch of ups and downs!. She's dealing with some deep stuff but Colton drives her story in weird places, and I couldn't help but root for them every step of the way. But let me tell you, the villains in this story? Ugh, they had me fuming!Nate is the worst, I knew he would be a different type of terrible and don't even get me started on Mike. READ THE TRIGGER WARNINGS!!! For damn sure. But hey, at least justice was served in the end. If you're into dark romances and gripping fiction, this is the book for you. If you read the others in this series then you can handle this one no problem. Trust me, you won't be able to put it down. Definitely an interesting addition to the LORDS series — wish it was longer but despite it being a short novella, it was JAM PACKED with craziness and intensity.
