I enjoy Weiner's style but sadly I thin this will be the last book of hers I read. They are just seem so similar that I get confused and think I've read it before. Ultimately I enjoyed this book but just disappointed in the repetition from her other books.

This book was originally difficult for me to get into, just because I do not currently have a baby. Eventually her humor won out, and I did like this book. Still hard for me not to gasp at a few of the baby things.

Totally planned on giving this book a solid 4 stars. (I rarely will give 5) Until I got to the end and everything wrapped up so nicely. It was too unrealistic and fairy tale-like. Other than that, the book was enjoyable and easy to read.

This was my favorite of Weiner's books. I love the multiple points of view as well as the realism. I'm not a mother, but I think Weiner did a good job capturing the thoughts and feelings of one.

Fantastic. This book is real, funny, engaging and the perfect read for someone like me who has been married a few years and looking to have children in the next few. Adored this book. I am sure I will re-read it several times!

Not being a Mum myself, I basing this opinion on what others have told me, but I really enjoyed reading this book because to me, it gave a me more of a 'real' insight in to what I think motherhood would really be like - the good, the bad, and the hilariously terrifying! It also focuses on how important it is to have a good group of friends around to laugh (or cry) with and to help you get through.

The characters felt real to me and it was written in a way that the drama, or conflict, wasn't overdramatised like some chick-lit books can do, and although the ending saw all of those conflicts resolved, it wasn't in a way that felt fake or unrealistic.

I enjoyed reading this book much more than "What to expect when you're expecting" and felt that I had a more in-depth connection with the characters and storyline. I think this is a book any woman would enjoy reading no matter what your relationship status or stage of life.

I read this one while I was pregnant with my first child. I think every expecting/first time mom needs to give this one a read!
