Absolutely beautiful artwork for my favourite DND podcast! It’s so cool to see these stories come to life

Rockport was my least favourite arc of the podcast, so I wasn’t sure if I was going to enjoy this one as my as Gerblins - It was so good though! They cut down on some of the sections that felt really slow in the podcast and changed a few little things that made it feel new yet familiar at the same time. I’m really looking forward to Petals to the Metal, whenever that’s being released!

Having The Adventure Zone turned into graphic novels is perfect for any D&D lover, especially if you are like me and have a hard time paying attention to podcasts. These really help fill in the gaps when I keep zoning out of the podcasts and miss important information.

I love the podcast this is based off of and this is a great adaptation of it. I love seeing how the characters interact just in character (sometimes the podcast gets confusing when I can’t tell whats OOC), and the art in this book is beautiful.

I'm not sure whether this second volume worked better as a graphic novel or I simply adjusted to the format change, but this was smooth chugging for me. A delightful chance to revisit these characters and their adventures, with some nice foreshadowing that the podcast format didn't allow.

Also, I love Taako.

Angus McDonald is my absolute favorite character in anything ever. He is the world's best boy detective and he is perfect. If I could give this comic more stars just for Angus, I would.

Everything else is really great too! I love the 4th wall breaking and all the references and goofs. The art is also just really cute and well done.
