Genuinely, absolutely phenomenal. Each chapter feels like a whole new type of horror. From exploring abandon places, weird old couples, sigils and spells, to straight EMF detector-in-hand ghost hunting, Killer Candy has it all, and it does it so damn well.

The meta story framing the book and probably continuing in a sequel was what drew me in; it was tense, and kept me wishing to know more. The main story, on the other hand, distracted from the original theme and was not as surprising. Still, a good read and I am looking forward to the sequel.
