A super-fun look at the life of an American icon. It leaves out any of the controversial stuff...drinking, extra-marital affairs, and WWII propaganda...but it's a great book for kids in elementary school.

I loved that it broke down his life into small chunks with fun illustrations and anecdotes. A perfect read for the month of March.

I've never known much about the man behind the books. This book with it's wonderful line drawings and plethora of unflinching information was a wonderful look into the life of a favorite author of mine (and of most people!).
