Reading this book felt like reading 500+ pages of exposition for the next novel. And while it was mostly interesting exposition, it still felt like 500 pages of absolutely nothing happening.

If you did like the concept of this book -- superheroes, post-disaster, questioning what good and evil really are, love interest with an alter ego -- and wanted it to be more than it was I recommend checking out Not Your Sidekick by C.B. Lee.

eh, it wasn't great.
i picked up this book because it was written by marissa meyer and i loved the lunar chronicles so my expectation was pretty high.
litterly any time someone said adrien all i could think of was cat noir from miraculous and that kind of ruined my perspective.
favorite character. phobia why? he's a vibe.

One of the best book series I've read, So original, lovely characters. Just like the Lunar chronicles this is such a hit. Loved it all the way through!
