Blimey, what a book, page long sentences, and really graphic, depraved, and intense writing. It was read as a book club choice, and had it not been, it would have been my first ever did not finish! Too dark and nasty for me. If you do decide to read it, the trigger points are many, so please see what they are before reading. However, the writing was just like a hurricane, never ending and intense. I can see why others rate this book but not for me. Sorry

SOOO GOOD. So geniunely frightening and grotesque in the best way. Proceed with caution though and look into content warnings, as I had to take multiple breaks throughout my reading. I felt like I needed to wash out my brain with soap
