Trying to think of something to say about this.... Um... But I can't.

The first three stories transported me right back to the first time I read my favorite Russian short stories. The stories are just little slices of life, nothing wildly dramatic happens, but somehow they're incredibly gripping. The poem is going to take me a little longer to fully understand, but it feels worth the work.

This is my first introduction to Georgian literature, and it makes me really want more.

These are entertaining stories and give a glimpse into another time and place. The book is smaller than I expected - I knew it was 80 pages long, but it's dimensions are also small. It's a quick, enjoyable read. The back cover gives about 1 sentence about each story that helps frame it a bit.

Final of the four I read, enjoyed it, but recall little of it a few days later.
