I took quite a break from this series, and let me just say, I'm so happy this was the next book in the series.
I loved this book. I did get a little annoyed with the miscommunication, but I do think it was necessary in telling Bridget and A'tam's story at it explained a lot about why they fought/argued a lot, so it didn't take me out of the story a lot.
Despite their miscommunication and their mutual stubbornness, Bridget and A'tam may be another one of my favorite couples on the Ice Planet.
I don't know if I would've liked this book at much had I not taken such an extensive break from the series, considering the fact that I was starting to get a little bored, possibly due to the minor reading slump I ended up having during the summer, so I'm glad that I took some time away from the series before getting into this book. I'm excited to continue with the next book and get Steph's and the outcasts story.
Overall this was a really great book and I'd definitely recommend it.

Classic miscommunication trope...which I usually despise...but this was well done and supported the storyline. Ruby does the impossible and brings you along to what ends up being a surprisingly sweet HEA.
Minor: Abandonment, Body shaming, Child abuse, Sexual content, Emotional abuse, and Gaslighting
