Beautifully written and thought provoking. I really loved watching Mari grow into herself. I so wanted to yell at her parents for sheltering her. I wanted to yell at
Mami for not doing what she thinks is best.
I wanted to yell at
Papi for not hearing and listening to Mari
. I love how the book wrapped up. Very hopeful.
