This one was pretty good. I would have to say better than some of the last ones I've read. I liked the history parts throughout.

A good installment in the series. Read aloud to the kids to learn more about Leonardo. Some historical details are definitely a bit off, but the idea of his genius and works are there. The book also gives the reader a good basic working knowledge of Florence ca. 1500. All in all, it was fine, especially since we are reading a couple of his biographies alongside it. One of my favorite Magic Tree House books. No bad guys, no scary parts.

It's always fascinating that Mary always can grasp how the people in other countries and times acted and capture there personality. Especially with Leonardo, Mona Lisa, and Michelangelo.
On to the next!
