This is a pretty great graphic novel that has a lot of valuable information in it about feminism. I took off a star because sometimes this information can be overwhelming especially with all the name drops and info about them. Definitely wish the author split it into 2 volumes but I still really enjoyed it!

This was a really interesting way to look at historical women and how strong and brave they were. Loved seeing the information in this way.

Read 2/28/21 - eBook

This was more like a quick reference guide to Women's fight for equality. Lots of names and dates with a couple sentences on their importance to the fight for not only women's equality, but for minorities, especially women of color, the disabled and the LGBTQ+ communities. I'm a little baffled that the Spice Girls got a shout out but not RBG?

I loved learning about women leaders that I didn't know about before, but I couldn't help lamenting those that weren't there like Ruth Bader Ginsberg. I also wished for more than just two Canadian mentions, but a book like this can never please everyone.

Best easter egg: a large spread of a swamp monster - and down in the corner of the swamp, a frog that looks suspiciously like Donald Trump.

Loved this. Beautifully illustrated, lots of detail - gorgeous in every way. I learned about women I hadn't known about, and it was terrific to have a story that spanned generations and continents. Just lovely.
