This book is meta AF and I LOVE IT.

It had me hooked from the first paragraph and then it only got better from there.

It's got loads of tropes I love like fated mates, shifter poses as pet, regular person learns the supernatural is real. It's got damn near every monster part you could want. Shadow tentacles, fancy peens, wings, horns, claws, tails. Everything your monster loving heart could want.

The plot is layers deep and I absolutely love a book with heat and plot. And the heat here is HIGH.

In this book she bonds with 2 of her montsters, and is well on her way to forging ties with the other 2. I cannot wait to see how the rest of the series plays out.

I especially love that Jade isn't a model hot 20 something. She's middle aged, curvy and has the life experience to know a bad idea when she has one. She talks through issues with grace and understanding. She also refuses to be pushed around or condescended.

The boys have a fantastic dynamic and their snarky banter is funny and endearing all at once. Arran is super sweet and his insecurities make you want to smother him in hugs. Maxum's flirty filthy mouth makes my stomach flip and my knees jelly. Flint's a sweetheart with extreme touch aversion and I really want to see how his relationship with Jade develops. Calder is one I haven't fully formed an opinion on. He's a wanker, but it stems from a reasonable cause. He's slowly warming up and I'm interested to see what's going to happen.

Bonus points for pets and monsters who care for them <3

it was a silly read. i liked that the mc was an author i think it couldve been sillier honestly. one of the monster dudes was an incubus ghost who was in some kinda shadowreal ig cos he kept referring to his cock as his shadowcock. really didn't like that.

SOOOOO gooodddd... Loved this one from start to finish.

Jade is a paranormal romance writer (hmm.. sound familar?) that is an introvert that has her rescued creatures and her books. She leaves the house one evening to hit the local bar to get a drink where she comes across a table of HOOOOTTTIES.....

She starts coming up with what kinds of paranormals they are for her new book. Oh how right she is, but doesn't know it. Having always had a little intuition, Jade has no idea what's really going on around her.

This book brought it all. There's lust, a little fun, a lot of witch hating, and a bit of witch loving. She finds out not all is how she thought it was, and how good life could be...

This one ends in quite the cliffhanger, and LE sigh...... Till the next book.......................

This was an amazing read! When you first start reading the book, you have to double check the chapter header. Then you laugh out loud when you realize just where it headed.
Jade isn't like your typical FMC in that she's older, which was a breath of fresh air for this reader. She's also curvy, and her imagination gets away from her sometimes. She's a paranormal author. We get an insider view of an indie authors' day from Jades POV.
I loved that she was completely unaware that she was a witch, and the world that she wrote about was real. Some of the best parts of this book are the moments that happen while she is blissfully unaware of what is going on around her and she's writing about what really happened or what she perceived to happen with the men she saw in the bar.
I loved it when she was coaxing Aaran into her house, and he thought she was crazy because he thought she knew his wolf was really him from the bar.
Aaran, Maxum, Calder, and Flint were all at the bar when she needed inspiration. Little did she know that when she was taking notes for her book that she would stumble on real supernaturals. A wolf, demon, phoenix, and gargoyle, she guessed what they were, almost for her book based on their body language.
Then we have Oren, who shows up in her dreams and just so happens to be a friend of the four who was unalived.
Not only is there the spice that Jade writes in the book, but the spice that is MM, MFM, and MF. It is all very hot!
There's a lot going on in this story with witch’s who are working against supernaturals and the ASO. The cliffhanger you don't really see coming and now I can't wait for the next book.

I normally am apprehensive of reverse harem novels with lots of characters sexually interested in each other but the paranormal elements caught my eye. Boy was this book HOT and steamy! Definitely will be checking out future books in this series.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Bewitching Her Monsters is the first book in the Bewitching Monsters series. It is highly recommended (but not necessary) to read the Shadowcraft Academy series, as this is set in the same universe.

Jade is a 40 year old, Whychoose, monster romance writer, who lives an ordinary life. One day, she walks into a bar and fate does her thing and drops a real life Werewolf, Phoenix, Demon, Gargoyle and Ghost into her lap. Not only can Arran, Maxim, Flint, Osen and Calder cannot stay away and Jade has some discoveries to uncover about herself.

I truly enjoy Yve's writing! You have absolutely lovable characters full of charm, Witty humor, completely polar opposites, but still compliment each other so well. I loved seeing the writing processes Jade goes through. She was also such a likable character and definitely looking forward to reading more!!

This book was pretty good. It was slow going on the spicy bit but there was some really good world and character building. I liked the men that will end up being Jade’s partners. It will be interesting to see where this is going. It does end on a massive cliffhanger. This frustrated me and makes me impatient for the next book. Definitely looking forward to the next book.

I enjoyed this so much! Jade is a paranormal romance author who senses things she doesn't realize. She is struggling and goes to a bar to take some time and get something to eat (no food in the fridge).. there everything gets crazy and leads to this amazing story with beautiful characters, redemption, pain, and some possible love? I can't wait for book 2!
