This is definitely more of a character development type of story than a plot driven one. I see it gaining a lot of criticism for that in the reviews, but I personally really like that type of novel so this was a win for me.

Perhaps extra stars because I’m recently going through a break up so it was hitting close to home. That being said, I believe this book did a great job representing raw emotion at such a time and normalized a lot of my feelings.
