http://nhw.livejournal.com/925397.html[return][return]This novel is a collection of short stories, most set in Ireland (esp Northern Ireland), linked by a narrative where they are told by a writer who is undergoing psychoanalysis. They are generally not bad at all, but the 'stylistc quirk' or 'frequently' putting words and phrases in 'inverted commas' annoyed me.
