Quick, easy read full of familiar characters. Nice to see the Rogues together.

Another lovely historical romance from Jo Beverly. I have to say she’s one of my favourites author in this genre. I simply can’t get enough of the Company of the Rogues. I started reading the series out of order, which was a big mistake. So now I’m following the proper order and I find it marvellous how I get to revisit most of the couples.
“The Devil's Heiress” we get to read about Clarissa’s love story. She was saved by the Rogues in the second book. This story actually picks up a lot of the loose ends left in the series. Clarissa and Hank weren’t the best couple so far. Didn’t have the best chemistry and honestly their falling in love wasn’t the best part of the book.
But finally I got a true ending to adventures of the first and second books. So, it was worth it. I still get the feeling that Nicolas is the main character of the series: he resolves every problem, he is generally in the centre of the action and always has some wise words. Personally, I would like a more active participation of Beth and Arden.
I liked, but there were other books in this series that made me more enthralled.
