Dear Matija,
This is now one of my top favorite books of all time. It tells a story of a woman, in her own words, not made for this world, of someone who doesn't kno  how to live. Lori only feels pain and anguish and on her path she stumbles over a man (most of the time, insufferable, Ulisses) who doesn't want her until they are both a full person, a full fruit if you will. I think the passages that talk of Lori's getting to know herself are some of the most beautiful sentences ever written. I have never felt more known by word on paper. Even though I don't agree with everything Ulisses says and proposes, I still think this is a beautifu story of growth and love. I also think the song Alone by Heart fits perfectly with it.
