I am always surprised when an author can make me hate a character then turn around and make me like them.
That’s what happened with this book.

Caius was not a nice fella in the first book, but in this book we find out what he is not Caius. Doesn’t that make sense? Wren too has been going through the wringer and is the reason Caius was so terrible in the last book.

But mending of hearts and souls is not easy and it takes a lot of trust and letting go to get there.

Then we have Kane and Gayla.. I am glad we got some of them sorted out only to not. Lol
Yeah there love affair is still on going and doesn’t have a HEA yet…

Loved this narrator; she has a way of making you want to keep listening to her. I love that.

*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

This is a great story filled with wonderful character. I love it when I hate a character so much in one book. Then the author turns my world around and makes me reconsider my stance. I did not care for Caius in the least. He did unspeakable things. In this book we are looking deeper into him and seeing his troubles. This pains me to say but I can understand him now. This does encompass more that just Caius and his woman. We have an interconnecting story of Gaela and Caine. As wells brief looks at the couple from Book 1. We are also introduced to new characters. This is a fantasy readers dream in these books. I did listen to this on audio. Sonja Field did an amazing job on narration.
