The house seems cool
The best part of this story was the house - fireplace, turret, basement. I wish I could see it.
I got bored with the story. It was very simplistic without much depth and little suspense. There were also a number of errors, which distracted from what little story there was.
It did made me crave grilled cheese sandwiches.
