This history of apricot orchards in the area was fun to read as a local. Chapman is easy to read, and includes lots of anecdotes, photos, and illustrations. I enjoyed learning about people and place names, and I was pleased at how far back she went in the history of the area. Lovely book, and now have a pretty strong craving for apricots in just about every form. :)
