This book attempts to give an overview of some of Australia's most well-known Bushrangers. You are brought into this savage world by historical and first hand accounts of how life was for the Bushrangers, the victims and the police. The Bushranger holds a special place in Australian history where they almost venerated in their deeds as they stuck to the authorities. How some of these men acted as gentlemen, not harassing the women and trying to show some restraint in a harsh and brutal environment. Yet for many of these men they died young either by the noose or in a gun fight.
The book also has a stack of poems and songs from the era that were dedicated to the Bushrangers and some other interesting facts.
A good read for the history buff.
