I wanted to love this book, but I didn’t. I didn’t feel connected to the characters and I didn’t find the plot that interesting, I’m so, so sad. I love Mia Sheridan’s writing, it really makes you feel the emotions but I just didn’t with this one. I felt this book was lacking or missing something… idk what though :(

Just as heartwrenching as Archer's Voice, and just as beautiful.

This was definitely a emotional romance that has some traumatic events. I do think there should be a content warning page about everything that happens in this book before one reads it. I really enjoyed a good amount of it but I do think some of it felt drawn out and was very repetitive in some areas for me. It was a good read but it’s hard to really love other books by Mia Sheridan since Archer’s Voice is the pinnacle it has to look up to for me.

This was a really sad love story! They both had bad things happen to them and they beat the odds but that was just sad!
I do feel like the book should have come with trigger warnings.

The things Mia Sheridan can do with words is out of this world. Everytime I read one of her books, I'm transported to the minds of her characters. I feel exactely what they're feeling, as if I was one with them. And everytime, she makes me question what I thought I knew about life, about people... This book is no different.

This is a journey of self-acceptance, growth and most of all love
