Definitely recommend this series as it combined serious topics into fantasy worlds that was truly well done and quite frankly refreshing.

However, plot/pacing was too slow for how incredibly long this book was. So many details were unnecessary (imo) as it seemed to be more world building even though this was the final book (confusing!). The ending was a little underwhelming for the build up.

I really enjoyed the main characters (minus Farsi) and thought they were so entertaining.

Not quite as good as the first, but still a solid YA fantasy series. I think it’s more unique than most. Plus it’s diverse, which is always a plus.

I had a few minor complaints about this book and the writing (telling rather than showing certain things, etc.), but the things I loved about this book, I really, really loved. So it gets a full 5 stars.

Haha... hah...

No, I'm not fine, thank you for asking. And yes, I'm in terrible pain.

If I can get one, just one little, small, tiny, miniature, micro-sized anthology, novella, short story, anything about these characters, or set in this world, literally anything will do. Please, I'm begging, I'm on my knees, please, please, please-

Great conclusion , had me in tears at the end, more quest based (as opposed to competition based of the first one) , this book does a wonderful job at touching on subjects with grace such as mental health, abuse, self doubt and many other subjects. Highly recommend this duology, it leaves you wanting so much more
