Pretty good series. I wish there was more to it.

They're best friend and they care about each other. I love them.

They went from "we're not friends," "I never said we were!" To "get to safety, I'll be all right!" "I have a team, and he needs me right now."

Amazing.

Super Sons returns to form in volume 3 after the massive disappointment that was Super Sons of Tomorrow. The final volume in the series is quintessentially Super Sons and contained everything I love about this comic.

Its first arc, 'Parent Trap' focused on Damian's relationship with his mother, as she attempts to bring him back into the world of assassins. Damian, surprisingly, hasn't been a central axis of conflict in the series until now and it was nice to see Jon support his friend when he needed it. Their touching heart-to-heart about Damian's potential for good despite his past was sweet.

The second arc, 'Live Fast, Fly Young' (love the pun) sees the return of Kid Amazo. This story was a great closer to the series. It showed off the growth of Jon and Damian as partners. Seeing them work together to defeat the first villain they faced off against and save the Justice League was a supremely satisfying closer to the series.

I loved this volume and the Super Sons series as a whole. It was filled with fun adventures and amazing characters. The friendship between Jon and Damian was a cornerstone of this series and I adored every minute of their wacky hijinks.

Super Sons Vol 3. is not anything super special. It is a cute, light hearted romp with the two super lads. I didn't find anything about this book extraordinary, in a positive or negative way. The banter and amusingly old school plots kept me reading, but I doubt I will be in any rush to pick up the next volume.
