A young black boy wakes up and goes about his day, spending time with family and friends, making mistakes, and graciously accepting others for who they are.
Inspired by the lyrics from Bob Marley's song "Three Little Birds"; the illustrations paid homage to this through music notes and incorporating images into the text (for example, the young boy makes a mistake in the kitchen to match the lyric).

This book teaches children not to worry about the things they can't change in life using the song Three Little Birds by Bob Marley.

Fun and very positive book based on the song Every Little Thing by Bob Marley. The pictures are vibrant and full of life. It would be fun to share with students and then sing the chorus with them.

1. No awards
2. Preschool- grade 3
3. This book is an adaptation of Bob Marley's song, "Three Little Birds." The story tells of a young boy who overcomes obstacles, and nothing can get him down. The boy's day cannot be ruined as long as he has his three little birds with him.
4. This story makes the classic heartwarming song by Bob Marley accessible to young children. With colorful illustrates to fit the song, it gives children a positive message about remaining positive.
5. This book can be used in a self-confidence unit to demonstrate to students about staying positive. It is also good to demonstrate to students about adapting songs to books.

I don't care if you are Bob's daughter, I think nobody gets to touch the lyrics to Three Little Birds.

An adaptation of Bob Marley's song Three Little Birds...though the words are modified you could play a portion of the song for children to get a sense of the rhythm and melody.
