As is common with anthologies, it was a mixed bag. I both loved the story The Tale of Ak and Humanity and it's unusual inclusion as an older work in translation. I hope this is something Tor continues to do in these bundles. The Ian MacLeod didn't work for me at all, but I was more than pleased to find another Judge Dee story.
