This book is charming in the only way that murderous elderly ladies can be. It’s lighthearted, even a bit funny at times, but it gets more and more unsettling as the book progresses. I’m looking forward to reading the next book!

I loved this book so much. the book its self is small which I really like. the short stories are amazing even though they are about murder. I love how mostly each stories is independent from each other and they do not really have to be read chronologically. The author did an amazing job fleshing out the main character maud and making me feel for here and kinda agree at some points with your very odd moral decision. I am right know on the second book and one other books Helene has written.
