Treasure is a short but compelling story that offers great commentary on the obsession when it comes to preserving one's social media image and presence as well as the class divide - a dreadful reality that the characters face in Lagos.

Oyinkan's writing is straightforward, gripping, and is perfect for dark and morbidly satirical stories like this one.

The audiobook narration is hands-down amazing! The acting and the authenticity of the accent and inflections done by Adepero Oduye made for a fantastic reading experience. It made me want to explore more of the story.

Treasure is part of the short story collection called Hush that dabbles in the consequences, often deadly, of deception.

Trigger/Content Warnings: stalking, breaking and entering, murder
