I liked the characters and story quite a bit, however I did have one big issue with the book.
I'm not really bothered by death/murder/etc in books usually, but this one seems to have a lot of extremely unnecessary death. Person driving somewhere in the rain? Hey, lets throw in another random death just for fun.
If that type of thing bothers you, completely avoid this book. If you can handle it, then it's a good story, gratuitous deaths aside.
