This was a cute book with a well fleshed out FMC. The MMC wasn’t quite as fleshed out, but the previous book gave more info on his probable background. He was loquacious and very confused about how humans lived. I liked the side plot with the kids. I especially liked that one side character parent being extremely unkind didn’t turn them one dimensional, even though they weren’t one page often. It’s nice to have people who act like people as side characters and antagonists.
Spice: 3/5
Triggers: child abandonment, grief

Unexpectedly wholesome read with wonderful characters. I loved Nuit and his manner of speaking and I greatly enjoyed Mollie, especially as a woman in her 40s.

This was a nice read.
Honestly, Mollie kind of really got on my nerves at the start of this. She was judging Nuit as a parent a bit too much for my tastes. Like she was trying to win the #1 mom of the year. I was like…chill.
Still. I liked Nuit. I liked Ty. Ty and Jackson were sweet as besties.
The smut was nice.
Not a new favorite here but also not a bad read.

This was so cute and compelling! The romance was adorable and it was great fluff. And the "shadows" from the hero were weirdly compelling. This series is so well-written and such a joy to read.

This was every single thing I wanted. I can't express how joyful this book is and the demon books Chace Verity has written. I felt like I was reading a warm hug of a book by the time it was over. I loved seeing our FMC help our MMC through adjusting to the human world. Finding connection again and life after divorce.
