This is such a hilarious addictive series, short and sweet and to the point, and certainly to a formula, but with such great humour at its centre and things slowly being revealed it is a great read. The question is who is actually narrating the tale?

i can't figure out this series yet. my gut instinct is that it's not that great. and yet, i feel compelled to read it, so maybe i'm wrong. it reminds me a bit of spiderwick, not so much because of content but because of my own ambivalent response to it ...
