I really liked seeing Angela in her "natural habitat" and heading back to England to visit her folks with her new friends in tow. I am glad that, in the end, the last minute wedding was a complete disaster and that she got some closure with Mark and that she ended up getting the wedding she wanted. I also like that her old bff and her new bff clashed quite a bit. It was very realistic.

Again, I just don't care much for Jenny, but in this one I could kind of see why she was coming off the rails a bit.

Although I haven't read the others in the series preceding this I LOVED this book. Such a nice, easy read with great characters. Will carry on following the series :)

This review was originally posted on Star Crossed Reviews I had such a long wait for this book but I have to say it was most definitely worth it.

It was great to see Angela go back to London after all the time she has not only spent in NY but the other countries she has visited too. After such a long time away Angela knows she must face her past but to be honest she would rather keep sweeping it under the carpet like she has done all this time. When she does face her past though I really enjoyed seeing Angela putting Mark in his place. It was also nice to see more of her with her family and Louisa oh, and little Grace.

I think my favourite part was the date with Alex. The day at the Zoo and then the picnic on the hill. It was so romantic, obviously apart from 'baby gate'. Being a born and bred Londoner I really enjoyed seeing it through Alex's eyes.

In a strange way I actually enjoyed Jenny and Craig's relationship and would like to see where this goes. Also I would love to see James and Graham together in the future they would make a really sweet couple.

I loved all the ideas for the garden wedding the fairy lights, the flowers, little cupcakes for the wedding cake it really came alive for me. The wedding was beautiful and really had me tearing up.

I really hope there's another book, and soon.

I have been waiting for Angela’s return to London since the first book – and I loved how it was captured in the story. Angela’s family and friends are chaotic as is Jenny (who always has some sort of life crisis!). Alex was amazing as usual – I can’t imagine a more perfect man (my standards in men might now be even higher!). Although the decision of a London-wedding – now that was wild and completely reckless, and so not what Angela would have wanted – but I do love how she talked herself into it in typical Angela-style.

The I Heart series continue to be my favourite rom-com books and with each book the story keeps me more and more hooked (although of course nothing beats the original I Heart New York first book) and I am always excited about the next book! It is very much tempting me to drop my life and get a new one in New York!

Loved it! Especially enjoyed how well Lindsey describes various aspects of London! I learned quite a bit, from Percy pigs to Primrose Hill and I also caught myself smiling severally on the train. The writer honestly felt like a close friend.
I had issues with that last chapter but I guess it makes sense knowing that this is one read in the series. I may or may not want to plan a wedding now! Lol.

So this is the last book in the series, before, of course, I Heart Christmas, due out in the winter. The book starts with Angela and Delia, her new colleague, giving a presentation to the head of Spencer Media, in attempt to get their new magazine, Gloss, up and running... when Angela is called back to the UK after 2 years in the states by her mother, wanting her to come back for her 60th birthday party. After having many doubts, Angela decides to go, with Jenny and Alex in tow.
Angela is faced with the past she left behind- bumping into her ex Mark, meeting Louisa's new family, and of course dealing with her difficult mother.
After thinking her mother is going to hate Alex, she is pleasantly surprised... until her parents suggest that the pair get married, within the week. I really don't like how Louisa behaves towards Angela and her new friend to start with, but can't help agreeing with her in thinking that the wedding idea is stupid.
Through the rest of the book we see the group manically wedding planning, as well as Louisa and Jenny not getting on, Angela having a run in with Mark, and of course Alex and Angela having disagreements... all in all everything required to make a great addition to the I Heart series.

I definitely think this is one of the better books in this series, this one was so easy to read and get into, unlike some of the previous ones. The story closes well, making it an excellent end to the series, and indeed to all of the characters. If you enjoyed the other books, definitely read this one.

Now you guys know I love this series but I have to say that this was my least favourite of the series so far. I still really enjoyed but I just felt like it was a bit lacking. It didn't quite pull me in as much as the previous 4 books. This could just be because of how much I love him but I feel like we didn't get enough interactions with Alex which surprised me considered to main plot focus in this book. I felt like we got more time with Angela's mother and father (two characters that up until now have been minor characters) than we did with Alex.
I also felt that the final chapter needed expanding. Kelk's writing throughout this series makes you feel like you are Angela's friend, living alongside her through her adventures and mishaps. But yet the final Chapter, a huge part of Angela's life, we were shut out.
