i just finished this book and it's fucking extraordinary, i'd kill to be able to find a physical copy near me. read this book READ IT I SWEAR IT'S SO SO GOOD.

Ok, some predictability to the plot and a few actions by the heroine that I hate (not telling her father who is her confidant - grrrrrrrr), but then again this book is almost twenty years old. So I can over look those little things that make me scream into my phone “no she fucking won’t do that!” because twenty years ago I might have done that too.
Enjoyed the story(ies). Weaving the two tales together was flawless and even kept my scifi/fantasy loving husband hooked as I listened.

2.5, quick read and interesting background stories but fewer twists than advertised and easy to predict. Also does not read well twenty years after its time but that may be my own fault for reading it now

Wow...I could not put this one down. What a brilliant writer Sandra Brown is. I absolutely loved this story.
