I had to wait for this book for 16 months via interlibrary loan, but it was worth it! Actually, it's worth paying for. Hilarious storytelling.

Funny and honest. I wouldn't mind reading more of her work.

A misanthropic lady writes about different stuff she hates and about working as a waiter in a fancy restaurant, where she waits on Michael Stipe and he acts like a jerk. She publishes excerpts of the porn she tried to write in elementary school. She attends a live taping of the Jerry Springer show. She works at Olive Garden.

This book was given to me *years ago* as a gift and I just now read it. Overall, it was fairly entertaining; some parts felt a little been-done, as memoirs about normal people do from time to time. But there were enough crazy stories about ex-boyfriends and ridiculous childhood events to keep it interesting. Overall, would recommend; it is fluffy, but entertaining.

It had its moments but overall I think it felt like she was trying too hard to be witty and edgy.

Loved this book. An easy read, so quick, and whip smart. It was my intro into iPad reading and of taking a Goodreads recommendation. I couldn't think of a better friend with a FUPA to take me down this electric literary world.

I buzzed through this pretty quickly. I feel like I'd be exactly the kind of waiter that she is (or thinks of being).

This is a collection of essays about how quirky and annoying people can be. Rarely does a book actually make me laugh out loud - but this one did, often, and heartily. I would recommend this to everyone. It's fun, interesting, and you might even realize there's something annoying about you (but ultimately, that's what makes you interesting).
