4.0

This funny book consists of 3 very short chapters, about two siblings and their Abuela’s mission to rid themselves of hiccups before they go see a movie. This book sits right on the edge of transitional and Easy Reader, but is the latest an Easy Reader can go, nearly a transitional read, partly because there is less than 23 pages with words. The font is very big and clear, and there is much white space on the page. It also includes several words in Spanish, discussion questions, and writing prompts in the back matter.
