the book is very interesting and easy to understand. Also, I am in love with the design. That alone is worth the 4 stars.

This book is a generalist overview of the field. It does an adequate job of introducing most major psych studies, although it spends way more time on flashy, dramatic research than it does on things like drug trials or descriptive studies. In addition, it rarely-to-never mentions criticisms of study design or outright fraud in results–for example, in the Stanford Prison Experiment, which is presented precisely as Zimbardo would like it to be.

Overall, unimpressed.
