Not a real enemy to lover vibe for me. It's obvious how they like each other right away and I do prefer slow burn when it comes to enemy to lover. Also, I don't really like the writing, like the character talk to us more than in their mind. I can see how some People May like the book, it's sweet and Light, just not my style unfortunately.

This was an okay book. It was definitely sweet and clean romance, knowing that it's a feel-good small-town romance book.

I don't know if it was me (and my mental state) but I didn't appreciate this as much as I usually do small-town romance books. I loved the characters but somehow I felt detached from the story still -- I don't know if it was the writing style, the plot, or just my mental state in general when I picked this up.

Nonetheless, I'm looking forward to reading the next book! I think Daisy will be a lot of fun to read about.

The FMC got a little annoying sometimes if I’m being honest. Maybe it was just the narrator? I’m not sure, but it really killed my enthusiasm. To be honest, I was more excited to read the relationship between Daisy and Luke that was so obviously budding and I want to know more about Luke’s crappy finance. The relationship between James and Ivy was a little boring and I feel like it hit its climax early and then just got a little boring and repetitive after that.
