I hated the main character. The story was boring and predictable and most of the characters were extremely misogynistic. The “feminists” in the story were caricatures, and I wanted to scream when I was reading it. The author tries to excuse it by saying that it was acceptable since the characters live in rural KY. The “mystery” was predictable and boring. Some aspects of the story were confusing. Blevins doesn't even turn the killer in at the end! Honestly, giving this book one star was generous. I will not be reading any more of this series. Don't waste your time.
