Painfully overwritten. It could have been a third of the size if she didn't painstakingly explain every character's reaction to something in detail, even when the reader could have inferred it themselves. Also suffers from 1990s gender roles. Not the worst, but the FMC is somehow both too stupid to live and the cleverest woman anyone has ever met.
