SO. I really appreciate that basically all of Bellefleur's characters are bi. That being said, I didn't think Truly and Colin are all that opposite? And why was Truly sooo caught up in her parent's business, like, how did she not see any problems or issues, but then knew exactly what to say to them at the end without even having a conversation with them about it all??

This story is cute! The banter is on point, the sass is sassing, this man knows what he wants and is willing to wait for it?! *swoon*

We jump right in on this one, and I'm here for it! The speedy (ex)boyfriend, getting told off in the first few pages really set the tone for me, and not pitting the women in the situation against each other made it even better!

The characters in this book are all outrageous, but in plausible ways, and as much as I enjoyed the main story, I have to say the sister and the best friend might be my favorite characters!! šŸ™ˆ

There were moments where I wanted to throttle our FMC but hey, I suppose that's to be expected. šŸ˜‚ But I enjoyed this a lot, I literally finished it in a day, which is a feat for me! So I'd recommend!

This might be my new favorite Alexandria Bellefleur book?!

The banter, the spice... THE SPICE. Hello!? I don't think I've ever been turned on by someone being called a jerk until today... hmm...

Anywhosers, there were some tremendous bisexual power moments, yes, outside of the bedroom, where I had to stop the audio, rewind and listen with my whole attention because the words that came out of this author were just šŸ¤ŒšŸ» ya know?

I could knock a half to a whole star for feeling a bit jumpy toward the end, where it felt like we just hippity-hopped scene to scene rather than having a little journey in between, but that could also just be me wanting to see more of these two. Because of that, I'm not deducting anything.

I don't own a copy of this YET, but I absolutely need it. I also have this weird intuition that it'll end up as a special edition SOMEWHERE, and I'll want that, so I'll keep holding off on a trophy copy for now. šŸ¤£
