This was a reread for me in the hopes of getting myself out of a reading slump. It’s not an awful book, I really like Holly Bournes writing but she’s come a long way since this was published. I found the main characters quite annoying and I get that their meant to be soulmates but there was a bit too much kissing and mooning after one another to keep me interested. There was a lot of drama that didn’t add to the story and some of the friendships are very questionable. The thing that got me the most was the fat phobia. One character was predicted to be ‘obese’ in the future.  Morbidly obese was the physical descriptor for the security guards. As a fat person that made me very uncomfortable. I don’t believe this is a reflection of Hollys recent novels which I have enjoyed much more.
